Liverpool Land

An extensive range of north-south aligned peaks situated immediately to the north of Scoresbysund village and to the east of Hurry Inlet and Constable Pynt airstrip at 71 degrees N.

A wonderful late winter or spring ski touring and climbing venue. Rarely visited and therefore virtually gauranteed to have the whole of these ranges to yourself!

A small icecap to the north, combined with alpine valleys and glaciers to the south offer a wide range of ski touring and ski mountaineering objectives. Many unclimbed mountaineering routes and a significant number of remaining unclimbed peaks

Many fine and dramatic alpine peaks rising straight up out of the Greenland sea up to 1400m in height.
An excellent range of alpine climbs of all grades up to 800m vertical height gain.
Stunning views over the Greenland sea ice and icebergs.
Ideal time to visit:
- April/May for winter skiing/mountaineering
- July/August for summer trekking
